According to Hitwise US, last week's speech by presidential candidate Barack Obama, dubbed "the race speech", drummed up quite a bit of interest online. Searches for "barack obama" were up 35% and the term "barack obama speech" was the 3rd highest volume term search term with the candidate's name for the four weeks ending 03/22/08. Now you know.
