According to Hitwise US, the most popular queries that included the term ‘broadway’ included ‘broadway strike,’ ‘broadway shows’ and ‘broadway musicals’ for the four weeks ending 11/24/07. Broadway stagehands have been on strike since 11/10/07, costing New York City about $8 million per day; negotiations have begun this week, but nothing is finalized. Now you know.

Burning Man 2007 Jumps to #1 Performing Arts Website

According to Hitwise US, burningman.com was the #1 Entertainment – Performing Arts site for the week ending 9/1/2007. Coinciding with the annual desert gathering, visits to burningman.com increased 57% between last year's event, the week ending 9/2/2006 and this year's, the week ending 9/1/2007. Visitors to the burningman.com site were overwhelmingly male, (69.49% male and 30.51% female). Now you know.
