Searches for Britney Spears Up 265%

According to Hitwise US, searches for ‘britney spears’ increased 265% for the four weeks ending 01/05/08 versus the previous week. Website traffic to the Britney Spears website was up 100% for the same time period. Last Thursday, Ms. Spears was involuntarily hospitalized for 72 hours for a medical evaluation at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Now you know.
