UK retailers not picking up on Mamma Mia soundtrack interest

Recent research from Hitwise UK shows that searches for the Mamma Mia soundtrack have increased four-fold over the last four weeks since the films release, and are seven times higher than the Abba best-of album 'abba gold'. UK retailers are not capitilising on this, however, with the US arm of Amazon the top recipient of searches for the Mamma Mia album, followed by a lyrics website (www.stlyrics.com) and US website CD Universe (www.cduniverse.com).
