Recent research from Hitwise UK shows initial interest in Wednesday's earthquake was mostly driven to U.S. based geological websites. Daily data for the 27th February shows the top four websites visited within the Environment category were sections of a U.S Geological Survey website www.usgs.gov, capturing 40% of visits to the category on Wednesday.
