BBC iPlayer visits triple at Christmas

According to Hitwise UK, UK visits to the BBC iPlayer website tripled last week making it the fifth most visited Television website online as users caught up with the Christmas programming. Searches for "bbc iplayer" doubled the week ending 29th December.
