Are UK Internet Users Golf Fanatics?
According to Hitwise UK, the Masters caused visits to the Hitwise Golf category to spike up 39% and Masters.org. Share of UK Internet searches for "masters golf" increased 24 times in the week to 7th April 2007. But not to be outdone, Wrestlemania 23, which took place on 1st Apri 2007 in Detroit, has truly captured the attention of UK Internet users with searches for "wrestlemania 23" 25% higher than for "masters golf" last week (and 13% higher than for "paris hilton").
