Apple Daily Dominates Online

Apple Daily Online (appledaily.atnext.com), the web version of Hong Kong’s leading newspaper Apple Daily has been the most popular News and Media – Print website visited by Hong Kong Internet users since December 2005. The monthly average visit time on the website was 10 minutes, 21 seconds for October 2007. On.cc (on.cc) and The Sun (the-sun.on.cc) have been ranked 2nd and 3rd consistently since April 2006. However, Hitwise Hong Kong reports that Headline Online (www.hkheadline.com), the city’s daily newspaper has increased its market share of traffic by 221% from 6 January 2007 to 24 November 2007 ranking 4th for the first time in September.
