When compared with the same time last year, Australians have increased their searches for ‘green energy’ by over 2000% (24 June 2006 – 25 June 2007), with the highest peak occurring during March 2007. During the 4 week period ending 23/06/07, websites receiving the most traffic from searches for ‘green energy’ were Greenenergystore.com.au, Origin Energy (www.originenergy.com.au), and JackGreen (www.jackgreen.com.au).
