The teen vampire movie Twilight seems to be a hit on screen and online over the holiday season. According to Hitwise Australia, ‘twilight’ was the most searched for movie over the 4 weeks ending 03/01/2009 that resulted in traffic to websites in the Entertainment - Movies industry. The top 3 websites to receive traffic from the search term ‘twilight’ were The Internet Movie Database (17.13%), Twilight the Movie (11.70%) and Wikipedia (10.56%). Year-on-year searches for the term ‘vampires’ in All Categories is also on the rise, increasing by 128.57% when comparing the weeks ending 05/01/2008 and 03/01/2009. Now you know.
