According to Hitwise Australia, 3 of the 5 most popular Business and Finance – Insurance websites visited by Australians were car insurance providers; NRMA (www.nrma.com.au), Royal Automobile Club of Queensland (www.racq.com.au) and RACV (www.racv.com.au) for the week ending 10 November 2007. According to Hitwise Singapore, the most successful website to receive traffic from the search term 'maid' was Maid Library (www.maidlibrary.com.sg), representing 12.12% of all traffic for the 24 weeks ending 3 November 2007. Yahoo! (www.yahoo.com) and Google Singapore (www.google.com.sg) each delivered 14.29% of upstream visits to Maid Library while Netmaid (www.netmaid.com.sg) and Swift Arrow Maids (www.swiftarrow.net) each received 25% of downstream visits for the week ending 3 November 2007. Internet Yellow Pages (www.yellowpages.com.sg) was the most popular website in the 'Business Directories' industry during the week ending 11/08/07, with 26.91% of the market share. During the same period, 16% of traffic from the Internet Yellow Pages website went to Streetdirectory.com.sg, where Singapore Internet users presumably searched for the offline location of businesses.

Kiwis saving for retirement

With the Kiwi Superannuation scheme coming into effect on 1 July 2007, New Zealanders are heading online to find out more. Since 5 May 2007, searches for ‘kiwisaver’ have increased by over 1300%. The most successful website to receive traffic from the search term ‘kiwisaver’ was www.kiwisaver.govt.nz, holding 58% of market share during the 24 week period ending 23/06/07. As a result, www.kiwisaver.govt.nz experienced its highest ever rank during the week ending 23/06/07, finishing as the 49th most popular Business and Finance website among New Zealand Internet users.
