Lottery Wins and Tax Don’t Mix

Reflected in last week’s Hitwise Australia Fast Moving Search Terms was the Oz Lotto $90m dollar draw which raised the hopes and dreams of many across the country. With lottery fever in the air, ‘oz lotto numbers’ made it to number 1 and curiousity for the ‘world’s biggest lottery win’ appearing at number 4. Similarly end of year taxes was also top of mind with ‘etax’ and ‘etax 2009’ appearing at number 2 and 5. Now you know.
