Scooter Searches Soar

With petrol prices out of control, Australians are looking to alternative modes of transport to minimise petrol costs. During the period 24/05/2008 – 21/06/2008 searches for ‘scooter’ increased by 71.4%, however during the same period no change was seen in the percentage of searches for ‘car sales’ (based on 4 week rolling search term share to Shopping and Classifieds – Automotive industry). Scooter Sales (www.scootersales.com.au) was the number one website to receive traffic from the term ‘scooter’ during the 4 weeks ending 21/06/2008. Now you know.
