Edison Chen – How Singaporeans Search for the Scandal
Over the past several weeks, there has been an explosion of Internet searches for Edison Chen, who is the latest Asian star to be featured in a celebrity sex scandal. As Hitwise Singapore reports, the website benefiting most from this traffic wasn’t a news or celebrity gossip website, but rather, for the week ending February 23, 2008 Wikipedia received 12.6% of traffic from the search term ‘edison chen’.
