Facebook overtakes MySpace in New Zealand

According to Hitwise New Zealand, Facebook (www.facebook.com) overtook MySpace (www.myspace.com) for the first time during week ending 04/08/07. During the same period within the ‘Net Communities and Chat’ industry, MySpace held 6.42% of the market share of internet visits, while Facebook accounted for a 7.10% market share.
