Harry Potter Release Anticipated Online
In anticipation of the release of the latest Harry Potter film, Australian Harry Potter fans headed online, with searches for the term ‘harry potter’ increasing by 265% between weeks ending 16/06/07 and 14/07/07. According to Hitwise Australia data search term data as of the four week period ending July 14, 2007 , the term ‘harry potter’ was the 4th most popular search term to refer traffic to websites in the ‘Entertainment – Movies’ industry behind the terms hoyts, greater union and village cinemas, accounting for 1.32% of all visits to the category.
