Flickr Close to Doubling Market Share
Hitwise New Zealand reports that the photo sharing website Flickr (www.flickr.com) has almost doubled its market share amongst Entertainment websites visited by New Zealand internet users in the past 15 months. At January 2006 www.flickr.com had 0.51% of the industry’s market share, but as of June 2007 the site now has 0.94% market share- that’s an increase of over 84%.
