Soccernet dominates online sports websites

According to recent reports from Hitwise Singapore, as of week ending June 23, 2007, ESPN’s Soccer website www.soccernet.com continues to dominate the online sports category, capturing 18.65% of visits to the category. One of Soccernet’s key strength is its brand awareness as more than 22% of Soccernet’s search traffic came from searches of the Soccernet brand. In addition, of all searches for the term ‘soccer’, Soccernet receives 24.7% of visits, followed by BBC News with 6.02% and Yahoo! Signapre Sports with 3.61%.
