« Will Motorway Man swing to the Lib Dems? | Bigot-gate and the role of social networks in the election »
Nick Clegg and the Liberal Democrats were the big winners online following the first leadership debate last week, and based on our daily data their homepage has been picking up more UK Internet visits than either the Conservatives or Labour over the last 7 days. However, as the chart below illustrates, following last night’s more finely balanced debate, it was the Tories that gained the most homepage visits. Despite this, it does remain extremely close: yesterday www.copnservatives.com picked up 36.42% of all visited to our custom category of the main three party homepages, with www.libdems.org.uk on 31.80% and the www.labour.org.uk at 31.78%.
