Following her much talked about appearance on ITV’s This Morning show last week, searches for ‘kerry katona’ have gone through the roof.

One website that received a lot of traffic from searches for the former Atomic Kitten singer was YouTube. The top 100 search terms sending traffic to the video sharing website included seven that were related to Katona. The basic ‘kerry katona’ was the fastest moving search term in the UK last week, and 12th most popular (and top non-branded) search term sending traffic to YouTube. It was joined in the top 100 by ‘kerry katona this morning’, ‘kerry katona on this morning’, ‘kerry katrona interview’, ‘kerry catona’, ‘kerry katona gmtv’, and ‘kerry katona youtube’.
All of this search activity helped push YouTube to a new all time high in the UK. Last week the combined YouTube UK and US properties accounted for one in every fifty UK Internet visits.
