« Jet2 Visits Spike on the Back of "Lazy Frog" Comment | Expedia Online Marketing Success »
I realise I've been a bit more active in the blogosphere this week than usual. The flurry of activity is likely short lived. Call it the storm before the calm. Two things to mention today:
1. Lazy Frogs Part 2: Kevin May, Editor of Travolution, blogged about my post yesterday on the Jet2 CEO's comments labelling the French Air Traffic Controllers "lazy frogs". He points out that PR can be a great way to drive traffic to a website. He also points out that the page on Jet2's site hosting the news item featured information on summer flight deals.
2. Upcoming Conferences: I will be attending and speaking at a few conferences in the next few weeks in London. If you will be at any of these events, please introduce yourself or stop by the Hitwise both. Hitwise is sponsoring Killer Search Marketing and Travel Technology Initiative (TTI) - both on 25th April. That same week, we will be exhibiting at the Travolution Summit on 27th April. Hope to see you there!

Hi Heather, that's funny I was reading yours this morning too. I think I might take your lead and add a few more graphs to add extra context to the blog...
The event on Tuesday was interesting, it did bring together a motley crew of companies and interests but that made the sessions in between more entertaining.
Being on two panels was quite a feat, you obviously made an impression!
Take care, Simon
