My TIME column about the politics of search is online here. Here's some additional data that I didn't include in the article (for all of the ILoveData fans). Caveat, searches for candidates prior to elections do not equate to votes, however the data does provide some interesting insight into which candidates are currently top-of-mind for U.S. Internet users.
First, search volume for the top Democratic candidates (I've included Al Gore in case he throws his hat into the ring).
