Google Properties - The Extended List

This morning I had the pleasure of filming a segment with Bambi Francisco about, among other things, the holiday season, and the dominant role search plays in the online retail sector. Specifically we talked about the holiday season and the continued dominance of Google as the #1 referrer of traffic, sending over 15% of the traffic to the 19,000+ retail sites that we track.

Bambi blogged some of the stats we discussed here.

While on the subject of Google, In light of yesterday's post on Google Answers, I have had numerous requests for an extended list of Google properties and how they rank amongst themselves in market share of visits.

Ranking as #20 of 33 properties in our Google Custom Category, is the departure of Google Answers the beginning of an initiative to focus on key assets? If so what goes next?

What surprises me about these numbers is the rank of Maps/Local.
Google should be promoting local as much as possible in my opinion.

The Google Maps number is surprising and so are the numbers for Google Images. I wonder what service people use to find images?

What about YouTube, sir? I assume that YouTube is owned by Google, therefore making it one of the "Google Properties".
By the way, what's the difference between Local and Maps? I thought they are the same.

I guess the difference between Local and Map is Local has fewer options than Maps, since google is not as content-intensified as yahoo, thus Local usually has lower share than Maps.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.
