Google Properties Updated

It's been two months now since I posted the breakdown of the top Google properties in a custom category. I've had numerous requests lately to update the table with more recent data. Below you'll find the new updated table representing US data for the week ending July 15, 2006, which includes some domains that I have added to the custom category since the last post, namely Blogger and Orkut (I had omitted these previously as my initial custom category was only Google branded sites).

You'll notice that absent the addition of the new domains, there has been minimal movement since I published this table in May. What you may notice is the absence of Google's new domains: Checkout, Calendar and Spreadsheet which were all below the top 20 during this time frame.

Combining all of these top properties, I can then chart the market share of visits to the combined properties in relation to all Internet visits. Based on these numbers, Google's market share visits in the US for their combined top properties has increased over 26% since this same time last year.

I assume the new Google Co-op product also falls below the top 20. Where does it rate compared to the other new offerings?

Google Co-op is a part of the Google Search. Only people that submit data to Co-op or subscribe to new sources go to google.com/coop.

Spreadsheets is an invite-only alpha app, like Picasa Web Albums, so it's normal to have very few users: those who usually test products from Google Labs.

Google Local doesn't exist anymore: it became (a part of) Google Maps.
